Releasing Saturday 3rd April via Online Raffle (details below).
Japanese Artist Verdy has returned with another Nike SB Dunk Collab: The Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Wasted Youth’.
According to Nike SB, Verdy's Wasted Youth Dunk draws from the desire to rebel against everything, whilst paying homage to skate and punk culture. The upper of the sneaker is dressed in patchwork denim, while contrasting red stitching provides pops of colour, most notably via a rose graphic applied to the medial Swoosh. It displays a black-based colour scheme starting with denim at its base with tumbled leather overlay panels featuring on the mudguards and eyelets.
One of the stand out features of the shoe is the removable swoosh branding on the lateral sides of the shoe; which when removed, reveal a white stitching outline of the swoosh logo.
This white stitching also appears on the heels, where ‘Wasted Youth’ is embroidered alongside a metallic hardware feature, similar to a D-ring belt; an accessory popularised by punk culture.
The Dunks are then made complete with custom-printed insoles and come with three pairs of laces - black, white and red.
Raffle entries close Midnight Friday 2nd April.
